To hear the teammates talk with each other, you wouldn’t know Cadillac, Money, T-Bot and Stryder went by any other name.
The SF Chronicle has a long and engaging article on the Cal Men’s Ultimate Team, of which I am a part.
Its a pretty good look at the College Ultimate Game, focused on our team. Especially of interest is our attempt to rebuild after graduating so many from last year’s near-Championship team.
The only play-by-play describes our game against Wisconsin at the Stanford Invitational. As one Wisconsin player said a couple weeks later while on line at the Centex BBQ, “you guys were better last year”.
I believe the above-top quote is the only time I show up in the article. I am in several of the included pictures, though, and can be found in the video by those with speedy eyes.
