David Adesnik remains waffley undecided. Nevertheless he gives a tepid nod to Kerry.
Why not be at least lukewarm?
…my most profound concern about Kerry is [not?] his naivete with regard to multilateral diplomacy. Rather, it is his total resistance to making about any positive statement about the importance of ensuring a democratic outcome in Iraq.
I had not realized empty rhetoric was such an important determiner of votes. Luckily, John Kerry’s specialty is rhetoric, empty and otherwise.
From his official website, and Official Plan for Iraq:
John Kerry and John Edwards will make the creation of a stable and secure environment in Iraq our immediate priority in order to lay the foundations for sustainable democracy.
It feels good to have cleared that up. I hope a majority of voter’s Kerry fears can be assuaged by happy words and smiles. It would make this campaign all the more pleasant.
