Michele Cottle argues against the overeager hysteria whipping through Democratic ranks after the Republican convention.
In aid of her point she writes:
Besides, it’s not like we couldn’t see Kerry’s problems coming from a mile away. The candidate did not wake up one morning in late June to find that he had morphed into a wishy-washy, windsurfing liberal with a mediocre Senate record and poor people skills. Arguably, he has been one all along.
Good idea. Defend Kerry by trashing him.
