A Japanese budget software company is selling a Japanese Word Processor based off Openoffice for about $18. Compare $18 to the $500 MS Office Japan will set you back.
But how do you market a product providing the same functionality at 9/25th the price? By having a pretty Japanese actress give birth to a horse in a convenience store, of course.

The Register provides a translation:
“Sourcenext products are just 1980 Yen?! Oh, my Goodness….!” She faints suddenly. A guy rushs to her and says, “She is having a baby!” Everyone looks at her anxiously. The guy says, “Now, the baby was born!” And for no special reason, she had a colt. It tries to rise unsteadily to its feet. “Oh! It stands up!” Everybody is moved.
