John Nichols sees fit to mention the seething resentment still felt in San Francisco over Ronald Reagan’s failure to act against the AIDS crisis.
Unfortunately, his post includes this turn of phrase:
In a city that, perhaps more than any other, felt the devastating impact of the AIDS crisis of the 1980s, there is still a great deal of anger over Reagan’s neglect during his presidency of acquired immune deficiency syndrome and the death toll associated with it.
Maybe John Kerry and his VP pick could declare themselves the Tsars of SARS. Catchy (get it).
