The all knowing, sort-of-seeing Score-o-matic has all the info on last weekend’s UPA College National Championship.
UC Berkeley UGMO ultimate (the good guys) was felled 7-15 by Colorado Mamabird (the bad guys). I would like to say UGMO put up the good fight, and that I contributed to the effort, but I cannot. We stunk up the finals and my mononucleosis addled body was useless.
We did have a terrific season and became the first Berkeley ultimate team to make nationals since 1992. The entire semester of Ultimate has been a fantastic time.
To win and win and win this year, only to lose lastly is painful. But our team played the most ultimate it possibly could. No matter the final final score, we can be proud of this season.
